Swedish pop duo Smith & Thell seem like odd candidates to receive the remix treatment. Their single “Row” has a folky alternative rock vibe similar to Florence + the Machine or Of Monsters and Men. However, the duo are releasing a remix ep for “Row.” Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere Norwegian producer Hella‘s take on the track. Beginning with a tribal house beat, the remix has a sexy future bass sound. While post-chorus vocal manipulations are considered a staple of DJ Snake, Hella differentiates his with a touch of distortion and a unique melody and pattern.
